Italy is the number one supplier of stone technologies to the US, with a market share of more than 30%. In 2023 the total worth of US imports of Made in Italy machines, installations, equipment, tools and complementary products to extract and process ornamental stones reached 195 million USD.
Italian leadership has been established via consistent innovation, customized technology solutions, effective after-sale support, and a responsive approach to issues raised by sustainability and energy savings.
The Italian stone and techno-stone industry, encompassing both materials and stone-working technologies, comprises more than 3,200 companies and employs 34,000 people, with a revenue of over 4.9 billion USD. It exports more than 3.5 billion USD.
